By Car

Road travel from Casablanca to Marrakech takes 2.5–3 hours on the A7 freeway. Driving through stunning scenery and tiny communities on a well-maintained road is easy. Plan to pay tolls along the way. Renting a car is convenient if you like flexibility and stopping along the way.

By Train

Trains are popular and pleasant. Moroccan railway ONCF runs daily trains between Casablanca and Marrakech. Travel time varies by train type (2–3 hours), with rapid trains possible. Trains leave Casa Voyageurs Station in Casablanca; tickets can be bought online or in person. First-class seats are more comfortable and reserved on the train.

By Bus

Buses like CTM and Supratours connect Casablanca with Marrakech. Traffic and stops might make the bus travel last 3.5 to 4 hours. Buses are cheaper and leave from several city locations, including the main bus stations. Air conditioning and reclining seats make these buses comfortable.

By Air

Flight is possible, but the small distance makes it impractical. Flights from Casablanca’s Mohammed V International Airport and Marrakech Menara Airport take around an hour. Still, check-in, security, and airport transfers may take more time than other modes of transport.
